Neighborhood
Pilsen is considered an up and coming improving and popular neighborhood. It was named tenth coolest neighborhood in the world by Forbes in 2019 article "Ranked: The 15 Coolest Neighborhoods In The World" Many popular dining and nightlife options are located along 18th street. Our real estate office has been located in Pilsen for several years and our team likes the neighborhood. The property at the end of this cul-de-sac street adjacent to an St Ann School, a Catholic school with preK through 8th grade. Since it is not a through street there is the benefit of less traffic, but there is more activity during school pick up and drop off times. Free street parking on the street out front.
Transit
Just three blocks from Damen Pink Line Train Stop. 12 minute train ride to downtown.

We had an excellent 2 month stay at this apartment. The location in Pilsen is perfect. EZ 10 minute walk to pink line an Metra stations, grocery stores and restaurants. It's on a quiet street with little traffic. The apartment is clean and comfortable and Nes, with Chicago Home Stays, was always super quick on responses. Would highly receommend this place for a short or long term visit.

Really wonderful experience! Space - The place is really nice! There were a lot of amenities, it was very clean, and it felt very cozy. They provided us with a Brita filter and coffee ingredients, which were thoughtful additions to the place. Location - The community in Pilsen is unlike any other. There’s a very vibrant Latinx presence, and it makes you feel at home. The pink line is a 6-8 minute walk, and the bus stop that takes you down to downtown Pilsen is a 1 min walk. You can easily access the park, National Museum of Mexican Art, and other fun places through public transportation. The place located at the end of the a cul-de-sac, and it’s right next to a very cute school. At night, we’d recommend being a bit careful in the area outside the place because people tend to gather there. We’d suggest that you use the back door to enter at night! But during the day, it’s very beautiful and lively :) Hosts - Nathan and Jason were really great hosts! They were really kind and communicative, and ensured us that they’d be there to listen to our concerns/suggestions.
